One of the most important materials in constructing a building is a brick. To use it though, you would ‘need a brick layers tools. Brick layer’s normally uses a lot of brick layers tools to make their brick laying a success. Among the most used and most important materials they used are brick towels, steel tape, and bolster.

The Brick Towel. A regular brick towel can be as small as 10 inches or as big as 14 inches. This brick layer’s tool is used so a bricklayer can put cement in between the bricks to hold then together. It comes with a wooden handle with a triangular blade in front of it. Aside from using it to put cement in between bricks, it is also used to remove excess and unused cements on the brick to make it look more finesse.

The Bolster. The bolster is a brick layers tools used to cut the brick into sizes desired or needed for the design. It has a wooden handle and it sharp edges that allows it to cut a certain brick. It is normally used in combination of a hammer to help it go through the brick especially during brick cutting. Bricklayers are advises to wear protective gear for the eyes when using this tool because it can cause the brick to divide into two causing fragments and debris flying over the working area.

The Steel Tape. Bricks are in small pieces but then if you are working on a large area, you need to be precise on how many bricks needed to be sued. This is the job of stele tape. It is being used to measure the right amount of brick needed in a particular plan or area. It is the same as a tape measure in appearance but it is actually made of round metal box.
